What are the side effects of HGH (Human Growth Hormone) ?
The decline in growth hormone (GH) is directly tied to the bulging, wrinkling, saggy, flabby, draggy creatures that we all sooner or later start to see in the mirror. Those of us with naturally lower amounts of hormone age much faster and more visibly that those of us who by reason of genes or high exercise level maintain a higher level of secretion for a longer period of time. The loss of the hormone with age is similar to that seen with menopause. And it has been given a similar name, the somatopause.
HGH can cause following side effects:
- It decreases insulin reception ability of body, leading to diabetes
- Blood pressure irregularity (generally it causes high blood pressure)
- Muscle pain
- Patient may experience frequent headaches
- Many patients acquire carpal tunnel syndrome
- People also suffer from symptoms which are experienced in arthritis
- Swelling in arms and legs muscles (edema)
- Swelling and hardening of arteries is one of the dangerous side effects caused by HGH
- In some cases, abnormal growth of internal organs and bones has been witnessed
- Many people experience swellings of various body parts
- In some cases, thyroid glands related problems are witnessed in patient
